Our Ales
 
At The Eagles Head we pride ourselves on the quality of our ales and pay
meticulous attention to their cellar conditioning.

Our principal ales are supplied exclusively to us by Moorehouse's brewery
of Burnley, whose ales have won international awards. The aptly named
Eagles Head Ale is a flavoursome and easy drinking 4% session beer and
is by far our most popular cask ale. The Grized Ale at 4.8% has a
wonderful honey centre and is popular amongst those who want something
a little stronger. Both are light in colour.
 
The two other 'handpulls' feature regularly changing guest ales mostly from
local micro breweries, notably those at Barngates and Coniston but others
from the region do feature from time to time as do ales from breweries
nationwide as the opportunity arises.
